Pelvic floor physiotherapy can be helpful for pelvic pain. Pelvic pain is complex and we need to consider everything in and around the pelvis and find what impacts you the most. We listen to your story and together we come up with a plan to get started on your pain management.

We understand the psychological impact or pelvic pain on you and your family. Pelvic pain can be debilitating and can impact sometimes the most basic things in life. So setting small goals that you can achieve is paramount but also ensuring you know what to do on the days you feel like you can't do anything.

    How we do it?

Those with pelvic pain has different symptoms and there isn't a one recipe that will work for everyone.

Assessments will vary between individuals, but there is a possibility that your pelvic floor can be involved and contributing to your pain. We assess your pelvic floor with care and find what its function is and then give you an individualised pelvic floor program. But we also don't have to assess your pelvic floor if you don't feel comfortable to do so.
