Physio Retreat Team

Whitney is a Women’s and Men’s health physiotherapist, specialising in pelvic floor health, as well as pre and postnatal care.

Hope is her loyal fluffy companion who will greet you at the Ashford rooms. She is the CVO (chief vibes officer) responsible for giving lots of love and laying across your feet.

Whitney began her training at the University of South Australia and has since completed a postgraduate certificate in both Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy and Exercise for Women at the University of Melbourne. She has worked extensively in pelvic health over the years and absolutely loves seeing the new bubbas! She also currently works in the maternity ward at Ashford Hospital.

Whitney is apart of the Continence Women’s and Men’s Health Australian Physiotherapy Association committee as well as a part of the Adelaide Pelvic Pain Network (https://www.adelaidepelvicpainnetwork.org/).

In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, particularly baking (though don’t ask her to cook a steak), so don’t hesitate to share recipes! And she enjoys exercising and spending time with her family.

Her experience lies in treating:

  • Bladder issues including incontinence, urgency and bedwetting
  • Bowel disorders including constipation, urgency
  • Prolapse and pessary management
  • Pelvic pain including pain with intercourse, bladder and bowel pain
  • Pre and post operative urological, gynaecological and prostatectomy surgeries
